Linqur API

Stop managing e-learning by hand. Automate it with the Linqur API.

Repackaging content for every client, configuring tools and piecing together reports takes time and invites errors. The Linqur API connects Linqur directly to your own LMS, EdTech application or portal, so you automate management, distribution and reporting.

Why the Linqur API

Linqur as a building block in your own technical landscape

The Linqur API becomes valuable once you see Linqur not as a standalone platform, but as an integration layer within your own product and process landscape. Management of learning content, courses, tools and users is driven automatically.

That lets you scale faster and professionalise existing processes, without depending on manual work in the Linqur admin. The commercial strength comes down to three things: faster integration, fewer operational tasks and central control over content and data.

The essence of API-driven content management with Linqur
The difference

Without the API versus with the Linqur API

The same learning offering, a fundamentally different management model.

Without the API With the Linqur API
Content management Every course and SCORM update processed by hand in the Linqur admin. Manage courses, learning objects and SCORM packages programmatically.
Version management Outdated versions and loose files you have to track separately. Publish new versions remotely through the repository, with reference and revision.
Tool rollout Configuring LTI tools, Magic Links and SCORM Proxy per client by hand. Drive LTI, Magic Link and SCORM Proxy automatically from your own workflow.
Reporting Piecing together exports from separate sources before you have insight. Registration data straight into your own dashboards and BI processes.
Scaling up More clients means proportionally more manual management work. Add new connections and clients without the management workload growing with it.
How it works

Connected in three steps

From token to a fully automated integration.

1

Create a token

Create an API token in the Linqur admin, ideally a separate token for each connected platform or application.

2

Call the endpoints

Manage courses, learning objects, LTI tools and repository files through JSON requests using GET and POST.

3

Automate

Build the API into your own portal, back office or automation flows and let management and reporting connect automatically.

Applications

What organisations build with the Linqur API

The API becomes valuable once Linqur becomes part of your own product and process landscape.

Your own learning portal or platform

Call Linqur functions from your own interface and extend an existing LMS or EdTech platform.

SCORM wrappers for clients

Generate downloadable SCORM wrappers through SCORM Proxy so clients can use content in their own LMS.

Integration with AFAS and other systems

Connect administrative or commercial processes to learning access, billing and enrolment flows.

Sign-in flow with Magic Link

Guide users from your own portal or external systems into Linqur with a controlled login flow.

Write results back

Write grades from assessment tools back to the gradebook in Linqur and on to external systems via LTI.

Connect an authoring tool

Push content directly from an authoring tool into Linqur for publishing, without intermediate steps.

The API supports not only management, but also reporting and data exchange.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

With the Linqur API you connect Linqur programmatically to your own LMS, EdTech application, portal or back office. You automate management tasks around courses, learning objects, SCORM packages and LTI tools, manage repository files remotely and pull reporting straight into your own systems.
The Linqur API uses token-based authentication. You manage tokens centrally in the Linqur admin. You create a separate token for each connected platform or application. A token grants access to all information available through the API within that environment.
The Linqur API uses JSON for both requests and responses and primarily relies on the GET and POST HTTP methods. The API is available as a v1 production version and returns a maximum of 2500 results per request.
Through the API you manage courses, learning objects, SCORM packages and LTI tools. You manage API tokens, retrieve users at tool level and pull LTI registrations per day and per course for reporting. Repository and version management also runs through the API.
Yes. A key part of the Linqur API is managing files and versions through the repository. You publish new versions remotely, link files to a SCORM package or learning object, and manage content without using the Linqur interface.
API access is available as a separate add-on and can also be part of a broader enterprise solution. Pricing is described separately. Get in touch for a price indication that fits your situation.
