Linqur is a member of Dutch Edtech

Dutch Edtech brings together more than 150 Dutch EdTech organisations. We are a member because the problem we work on every day, connecting learning systems that do not understand each other by default, does not stop at the edge of one company.

What Dutch Edtech does

Dutch Edtech was founded in 2021 and works from Marineterrein in Amsterdam. The foundation brings together EdTech entrepreneurs, educational institutions, government and investors, with the aim that by 2030 the Netherlands leads in education technology that demonstrably improves learning.

It works along five lines: sharing knowledge through research and publications, building a network between startups and education, running events and podcasts, shortening the route to capital, and speaking with one voice for the sector towards politics and policy.

Why we joined

What the membership means for us

A membership is a choice about where to put time and attention. This is why we make it.

Interoperability is a sector problem

Every training provider working with more than one learning platform runs into the same wall. Standards like LTI and SCORM only solve that if enough parties implement them properly, and that takes coordination beyond your own product.

Closer to daily practice

The network holds the LMS vendors, publishers, authoring tools and educational institutions our customers work with every day. What comes up there reaches us sooner than it would through a support ticket.

Taking Dutch EdTech seriously

We host in an independent Dutch data centre and hold ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certification. A strong Dutch EdTech sector is not an abstraction for us; it is the reason those choices stay affordable and sustainable.

Beyond the Netherlands

Dutch Edtech is part of the European EdTech Alliance. Our customers deliver courses well outside the Netherlands, so a European view on standards and regulation helps us plan our own roadmap honestly.

What we bring to the network

A lot gets built in EdTech that works fine on its own and still fails to land, because it does not fit the systems a school or training provider already uses. We see that up close. A course that is technically correct but will not launch in the customer's LMS is as useless to the learner as no course at all.

So the subject we bring to the table is interoperability. Implementing LTI 1.3 properly, what SCORM can and cannot do, and what it takes to keep learner data in Europe. None of it fills a room, but it decides whether good content reaches the learner.
